September 2005 - Project Opus is a social network dedicated to distributing and marketing independent music. A music management system was created for effective music licensing, distribution, sales, and tracking. MTV licensed this technology in the spring of 2007.

August 2006 - Opus Player is a music store widget allowing bands and artists to sell their music directly to their fans via any website that supports embedded widgets. Opus Player is integrated with ProjectOpus.com’s music management system.

DYLAN

DYLAN™

October 2006 - DYLAN is a research study on digital music packaging done in association with Simon Fraser University. To be completed in March 2008, DYLAN will enhance the digital music experience by introducing additional media and services to standard audio files. The project has evolved into JAMM, starting in August 2007.

Mixx Maker

Mixx Maker™

March 2008 - Mixx Maker is a social network widget that lets you create ‘Mixxs’, digital mixtapes that you make with your friends. Originally an offshoot for JAMM research, Mixx Maker is now available as an application on Facebook. The technology has received music industry endorsement from Nettwerk Music Group. The application and MixxMaker.com were officially launched in January 2008.
